 Floyd N. Michel, Jr., D.C.
Dr. Floyd N. Michel, Jr. is a Chiropractor who is currently in his 24th year of private practice. He serves those in need of specialized care for disorders of the spine and nervous system. Dr. Michel received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University, in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He then served, and was honorably discharged as a First Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps before deciding to return to professional school at Palmer College of Chiropractic located in Davenport, Iowa. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree with high honors in October of 1983.
Dr. Michel is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He has also taken several hours of postgraduate training in orthopedics through the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois. Part of this study has enabled Dr. Michel to become certified in the rating of impairment and disability caused by spinal injuries. He has also added another avenue of care to the practice by becoming certified in the treatment of repetitive stress injuries, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, shoulder impingement syndrome, and a host of other joint disorders not directly related to the spine.
